Opsidianos
- hand-blown glass
Opsidian is the name of the hard black opaque glass that is formed by volcanic action when intense volcanic heat fuses masses of silica together. Its functionality dates back as early as 75,000 BC, when its ability to be flaked and chipped was recognised by humans who used it for arrows and spearheads. Centuries later opsidian became valued for ornamental and ceremonial purposes. Sculptured Lighting -
